Bedford Lee ChandlerBedford Chandler was born in Norfolk, Virginia in 1944, and lived in multiple states before completing his primary education in El Paso, Texas where he began his secondary education at Texas Western College (UTEP). Bedford received specialty trainingwith the United States Navy and served as a Medical Corpsman with the Marine Corps in Viet Nam for 3 years He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat V, Presidential Unit Citation, Combat Action Ribbon, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Civic Action and Viet Nam Service Ribbons. After completing his military service, Bedford attended and graduated from the University of Washington's Physician Assistant Program (Medex) in 1972. He provided medical care to underserved populations in Washington State and Alaska for 43 years. He assisted the University of Hawaii in the establishment of the Physician Assistant Program in Guyana, South America. Bedford continues his journey with photography and exhibits his images in galleries, the internet, and solo photography exhibits. His images have received several awards. He lives in Idaho, Alaska, and Florida with his wife Stephanie. Read More Read Less
