Janice L HurdJanice L. Hurd graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. degree in 1957 and received an M.A. in 1963 and Ph.D. in 1970 from Bryn Mawr College. Dissertation: "Lorenzo Ghiberti's Treatise on Sculpture: The Second Commentary." She was a lecturer in te education department of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC in 1961-62, and Visiting Assistant Professor of the History of Art at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1973. From 1988-92, she served as Registrar of the University of Vermont's Fleming Museum of Art, Burlington.
