In 2005, I had a student named Jacob. He was a very shy guy with enormous drive to become a killing guitarist, but the guy had no born talent. I believed in order to be great, you had to be born with talent. I was dead wrong!

I wasn't born an Amazon Best Selling Author or had the gift for music. I had to practice my buns off for hours and had tons of failure. I had only a few years of teaching under my belt and assumed students knew what they were doing when it came to practicing. I was dead wrong again.
