About the Author: Isabel García Cintas nació en Córdoba, Argentina. Estudió periodismo y fotografía en Buenos Aires, y vivió tres años en Melbourne, Australia. A su regreso se radicó en Bariloche, en el sur del país, donde trabajó por una década en el periodismo escrito y radial y ejerció distintas funciones en entidades comunitarias. Desde 1987 reside en los Estados Unidos. Ha participado en diversos talleres literarios tanto en inglés como en castellano. Ha recibido varios premios y menciones literarias. Tiene dos libros publicados en ebook y tapa blanda, Incidente en la Patagonia, novela de suspenso político, y Del Mediterráneo al Plata, un fiel relato de las memorias de sus familiares inmigrantes de Europa a la Argentina. Su próxima publicación es la novela histórico-romántica Ocho meses con Tessa, que trata de los diarios íntimos de dos mujeres separadas por la distancia y el tiempo. Una escribe su diario en Amsterdam durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y la otra en Buenos Aires, cincuenta años después. Sus vidas se entrelazan misteriosamente para llevar a cabo una misión inesperada. La autora tiene también en proceso de edición un libro de cuentos, La Casa Vieja y Otros Relatos, una recopilación de narraciones cortas de distintas épocas.
