About the Book

In a world gone so desperately cold, and with an economy basically next to nothing. Gordon Green a reporter for an archaic Newspaper in Pasadena California, feels that his career has detoured into a dead end street. So he sets off in his quest to fulfill his dream of writing a novel. Along the way he experiences the unexplained which sends him on a mysterious roller coaster ride. A ride filled with many dips and turnes, yet full of romance and intrigue. Only to find that he had been ENTERTAINING STRANGERS.
About the Author: Quyntin Newberne was born in the small tobacco town of Wilson, North Carolina. Growing up around generations of Story Tellers Quyntin recognized early on where his gifts lie. So upon graduating from high school in 1973 he decided to enlist into the Navy, whereby for two years he sailed the Pacific Ocean before being Honorably Discharged in San Diego California in 1975. In 1976 his mother passed away from cancer, leaving an empty feeling in Quyntin like none other. This only eventually shifted his focus, so off to Hollywood he moved and began his studies at Los Angeles City College in the areas of Film and Music. Upon graduation From L.A.C.C. he acquired various jobs in production. In 1985 he'd worked his way up to Stage Manager in a Production Company called Special Effects Unlimited. Their fame came as a result of the Comedy Film, "Airplane." In the early 90's Quyntin really began to settle down and raise his family. So he was hired in the Film and Photography Department at the Art Center College Of Design in Pasadena, California. After a couple of years teaching the kids, a fire once again was lit under Quyntin. He then left the Art Center and got an opportunity to write for then popular T.V. series, "Dr. Quinn's Medicine Woman. Along with the hit T.V. show, "Roc." Hollywood being what it was, and him being who he was caused him to eventually try his hand in Acting and Stand Up Comedy. As a result in 1994 he decided to write and copyright the first draft to "ENTERTAINING STRANGERS."
