Die Erforschung der fruhneuzeitlichen Bildungsgeschichte hat in den letzten Jahren ein neues Profil gewonnen. Vor allem dem 16. und 17. Jahrhundert werden hierbei in der Entwicklung und Umgestaltung des Schul- und Bildungswesens eine besondere Bedeutung zugeschrieben.

Die Autorinnen und Autoren greifen diese Thematik und diesen Zeitraum in ihren Beitragen auf und stellen konfessionelle Aspekte fruhneuzeitlicher Bildung, reformpadagogische Elemente im Schul- und Bildungssystem sowie institutionelle Einbindungen von Schulen in das obrigkeitliche Verwaltungssystem im deutschsprachigen Raum vor. Neben Erziehungs- und Bildungskonzepten rucken aber auch die sozialen und politischen sowie epistemischen Kontexte der Erziehungs-, Bildungs- und Schulgeschichte in den Blick. So werden neben lutherischen, reformierten und katholischen Bildungssystemen auch strukturelle, methodische und inhaltliche Ubereinstimmungen sowie Unterschiede im Schul- und Bildungswesen aufgezeigt.


About the Author: Christine Freytag ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl fur Allgemeine Padagogik und Theorie der Sozialpadagogik der Universitat Jena; ab Oktober 2018 Vertretung der Allgemeinen Padagogik am Institut der Erziehungswissenschaft an der Universitat Jena. Forschungsschwerpunkte: Bildungstheorien, Historische Erziehungs- und Bildungsforschung im 16.-18. Jahrhundert, Stimme und Padagogik, Theorie und Geschichte der offentlichen Kleinkindererziehung. Sascha Salatowsky ist wissenschaftlicher Referent an der Forschungsbibliothek Gotha, Stabsstelle Veranstaltungsprogramm und Offentlichkeitsarbeit. Forschungsschwerpunkte: fruhneuzeitliche Geschichte der Philosophie und Theologie im Allgemeinen, mit einem besonderen Interesse am Aristotelismus, Luthertum und Sozinianismus sowie die Geschichte einzelner Disziplinen wie der Metaphysik, Physik und Psychologie; Toleranzdebatten in der Fruhen Neuzeit; Wissens- und Bildungsgeschichte.
