About the Author: Daphne Wills (6 de enero de 1982) es un escritora de origen americano que se ha dado a conocer tras la publicación de su primera novela, titulada Liberum 1580. Realizó sus estudios entre Europa y América, habla tres idiomas, entre ellos el español. Acudió a talleres de escritura y obras de teatro en las que se representaron varias de sus historias, algunas de ellas ganadoras de premios en su promoción de 2004-2005. Estudio administración y dirección de empresas, desarrolló su actividad en el mundo financiero. Apasionada por la historia del Nuevo Mundo decidió terminar, tras la pérdida de dos familiares muy queridos para ella, su primera novela, Liberum 1580. En la actualidad vive en Zúrich donde trabaja en cargos de dirección en una empresa de comercio internacional.
