Coming of age, school issues like bullying, and social issues like family problems are confusing to kids. By writing from different points-of-view, the reader gets to see what thoughts drive another character's actions.Growing up, I enjoyed reading Fairytales, Folktales, and Myths, Mysteries and Thrillers, Science Fiction, Science Fiction Fantasy, and all kinds of Paranormal Fiction. My favorite books contained a broad range of characters. From ghosts and vampires, to shape shifters, witches and wizards, dragons, fairies, elves, demons, and mermaids. These stories were set in strange and magical worlds. A boarding school, a haunted house, a cemetery, inside an enchanted wardrobe, on the other side of a mirror, and down a rabbit hole, to name a few. The hero or heroine often owned a reference library full of spell books, possessed psychic powers, and wielded magic with the flick of a wrist. My Actual Magic series is a wonderful mix of all of those stories, with unforgettable characters, special worlds and magic powers. The reader will quickly discover this series focuses on the Science Fiction & Science Fiction Fantasy / Paranormal / Mystery & Thriller / Fairytale, Folktales, & Myth / Action Adventure / Spirituality Genres, and is laced with teen romance, and layered with magic.Overall, in the Actual Magic series there is never a dull moment. Fast-paced, these books will keep the reader up all night, turning the pages. Only the very best stories cast that kind of spell, right?Q: In what order should. I read the Actual Magic series?A: Lilly Noble & Actual MagicLilly Noble & the Phantom RushLilly Noble & the Secret Garden (coming soon)Lilly Noble & Actual Magic, a gremoire (is a Fan Fiction Journal with clues to the entire series)Q: Why should children and teens give these books a try?A: Because the Lilly Noble series is a collection of fun, fast-paced, thrill ride stories that will keep you reading long into the night. Each book keeps hitting the Amazon eBook and Amazon #1 Best Sellers list - which is no mean feat.Ultimately, readers who enjoy lightning paced stories, with wonderful, engaging characters, and plots that twist and turn, will love these stories. To get an email whenever the author releases a new title in this series, sign up for the VIP Newsletter at deborahmctiernan.com (just copy & paste into your browser)Thank you for reading!LILLY NOBLE & ACTUAL MAGIC SERIES eBOOK CATAGORIES: Teen & Young AdultMysteries & ThrillersScience FictionChildren's eBooksFairytales, Folktales, & MythCollectionsScience Fiction & FantasyFairy Tale FantasyFantasySupernatural MysteryReligion & SpiritualityEarth-Based ReligionsCelticScience Fiction & Fantasy Best SellersTeen & Young Adult Best SellersFairytales, Folk Tales, & Myths - Best Sellers
About the Author: On July 4, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Deborah McTiernan was born into a family of avid readers. At the age of 4, she spent hours in her grandmother's attic typing on a portable typewriter she found in an old steamer trunk. While pretending to write exciting stories of magical heroes and heroines, the keys of that typewriter ignited her imagination. Her family transferred from the East Coast to the Midwest and they settled in the rural village of Orion, Illinois (Archer's Bow, Illinois in her story, "Lilly Noble & Actual Magic"). While living in Orion, Deborah became a life long fan of fairy tales, myth, and magic. Summers off from school gave her lots of time to haunt the town library, read her favorite stories on the front porch, and hone her skills as a storyteller. Deborah's story, "Lilly Noble & Actual Magic" is a pleasant twist to the beloved and enduring fairy tale genre, and in the hands of this author, this might just be the beginning. Deborah lives in Arizona.
