About the Book

Multilingual edition/ Edición multilingüe/ Édition multilingue: English, Español, Francais

Love and Death, or Eros and Thanatos, are universal themes that have preoccupied humanity since the beginning of history. Eros, the life, is the woman, but thanatos, the death, is also it. There is no one who understands it. The woman is the whole, life and death.
Pepe Villan, painter and storyteller, presents through 75 painted collages (surreal, with humor or terror and with a small attached story), his particular vision of the classic theme of Eros and Thanatos, where the woman dances, runs away, gets scared or she lives with the brave bull, a noble and ferocious animal, which has always been closely related to sex and death in Mediterranean culture. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did doing it. Thank you.
Black and white edition, 174 pages

Merci beaucoup.
