Sorcerer-soldiers keep the country safe from dangers beyond its borders while Keri keeps to herself and keeps herself online. At a store robbery, Keri's attention is caught by Lake, a trainee sorcerer, who looks exactly like the male lead in her game.
Guns fire, customers panic and a sudden attack from monsters happen all at the same time. Lake, using his spells, fights to protect Keri and the public from the relentless threat. But their valiant efforts end in tragedy as they meet their demise. But death isn't the end.
Miraculously revived, Lake awakens with a secret-a magic system screen only he can see. A sense of purpose ignites within him.
