This memoir is the true, first-hand account of one man's survival during the Nashville floods of 2010, as entire neighborhoods were submerged, streets ran like rapids, and lives were lost. Owen Grimenstein was born and raised in Fairview, Tennessee. He holds a bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in education from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been creating stories since he was a child. His passion is writing fiction but his story about the historical Nashville flood in May 2010 had to be told. He is married with two children and is a middle school special education teacher in middle Tennessee.
