Jahrhunderts, Note: 2, FernUniversität Hagen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Hausarbeit behandelt die Frage, was Wittgenstein an Moore's 'truisms' kritisiert und ob seine Einwände plausibel sind. Ausgangspunkt von Wittgensteins Werk "Über Gewißheit" bilden G.E. Moores Aufsätze "A Defense of Common Sense" und "Proof of an External World". Wittgensteins ÜG behandelt Themen wie Wissen, Gewissheit, Zweifel, Erfahrung, Begründung, Irrtum und Wahrheit. In der geplanten Hausarbeit wird Wittgensteins Auffassung von Wissen, im Vergleich zu Moore, untersucht. Dabei steht die Analyse der Verwendung von "ich weiß" und der Frage nach sinnvollen Aussagen im Vordergrund. Die Fragestellung lautet demnach: Können Wittgensteins Einwände gegen Moores Wissensbegriff überzeugen? Hierfür werden besonders die Paragraphen 1-65 in ÜG untersucht, da sie sich vornehmlich um den Ausdruck "ich weiß es" drehen. Im ersten Kapitel dieser Hausarbeit wird festgehalten, was Moore sicher weiß. Nach Moore gibt es einen Körper, seinen menschlichen Körper, der in der Vergangenheit geboren wurde und sich mit der Zeit verändert hat. Für Moore entspricht dieser Satz nicht nur der Wahrheit, sondern er ist sich dessen Wahrheit auch sicher. Im nächsten Kapitel wird der "Common Sense" von Moore beschrieben. Der "Common Sense" geht davon aus, dass man gewisse Dinge für sicher und wahr halten kann. Somit sind unsere gewöhnlichen, alltäglichen Auffassungen von der Welt im Großen und Ganzen korrekt. In der Hausarbeit erfolgt ein kurzer Einblick in Wittgensteins ÜG. Die Paragraphen 1-65 befassen sich hauptsächlich mit dem Ausdruck "Ich weiß es" und sind für die Hausarbeit besonders relevant. Zudem wird der Begriff des Sprachspiels kurz erläutert und es wird auf den Skeptizismus eingegangen. Des Weiteren erfolgt ein Einblick in die Debatte von Wittgenstein und Moore.
