Amy SzeligaAmy Szeliga is a life-long Tennessean whose childhood was spent in the mountains of East Tennessee. Amy grew up listening to Dolly's music and hearing about Ms. Parton's talents and philanthropic efforts from her dad who happened to be a guita and banjo player in an Appalachian string band as well. Amy's best and most-exciting memories involve visiting Dollywood with her friends and family throughout her life. She was once lucky enough to be in the crowd in Dolly's friendship garden at Dollywood when the star was dedicating a stone to her friend Chubby Checker. After experiencing the down-to-earth superstar's charisma up close, there was no turning back from the Dolly obsession! Amy's children have noticed the obsession and have frequently asked what led to her being Dolly's number one fan. As a result, this story was born!
