Brenda J BarringerBrenda Barringer grew up in rural Ontario. As a child, if you found her anywhere, it was either high up in a tree or under the Weeping Willow in the front yard, reading or writing in a notebook which went with her everywhere.

She was firstpublished in Elementary School when her poem was selected for the Mother's Day booklet.

Being a strong Christian, Brenda draws inspiration for everything she does from her relationship with God. Always believing she would one day write a novel, she continued to write short stories and poetry while waiting for that inspiration to come.

Wanting to increase her skills as a writer, she took courses in Print Journalism, Critical and Creative Thinking and Creative Writing at the local College. Writing articles for newsletters, a denominational magazine and being published in the College Newspaper, Brenda gained experience in writing which led to this, her first novel.

As a retired Personal Support Worker, Brenda lives in the country with her two Chihuahuas, Sophie, and Sam. While reading and writing at every opportunity, she spends her days refinishing antiques, gardening, bird watching and knitting. Read More Read Less
