Carleen IrwinCarleen Irwin grew up on a farm in Southeastern Idaho with a sister and two brothers. She attended Idaho State University, and completed her degree in Elementary Education at Concordia University (Portland, OR). Her passion for teaching began in earl childhood and she now has over twenty years' experience in early childhood classrooms.Her greatest joy is sharing her love for reading with children and showing them they can explore the world through books. Her Grandma Amelia read to her as a child and instilled a love for reading, which she then shared with her own two children and her students. Those books read by Grandma Amelia were just the beginning of her passion for collecting children's books.When not writing, Carleen enjoys cuddling her Goldendoodle, teaching Sunday School, attending professional baseball games, traveling Europe with her husband and adult children.
