Debra StarDebra Star was born in Australia, and this is where she currently resides. As a sole parent she raised her seven children, whilst primarily working in the community welfare sector. Being the daughter of a well published and prolific author, from the ge of twelve Debra started to follow in the family's footsteps and she began to write.
