Donna Mama Koku BuieDonna Kokumo Buie, aka Mama Koku, has been performing as a storyteller for almost 20 years. Born and raised in Durham NC, she graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor's degree in Drama with a focused studies in education and prformance. Koku now calls Atlanta GA, (College Park), home sweet home. Though she mostly performs for schools, she also appears regularly at festival, museum, and arts venues across Georgia and other parts of the US.
