It was hard for her to follow the scientific books and I couldn't find a children'sbook that had enough technical knowledge.So... I improvised and made sure she was always talked about and even hugged good night. I showed my eldest pictures of her sister and explained what she could do at her different stages of development. Sucking her thumb, when she could hear us, and that she was hugging us back when we hugged her. This improvisation of stories from growing baby mixed in with a little science of size and certain things going on each month in baby's development such as heartbeat, hearing, and sprouting arms/legs.I am not saying my girls will never fight but I do feel good in the knowledge that we are now more than 10 months in and we have still not gotten the all too familiar question of Can you take her back?.
