Ephrem CarrierEphrem Carrier served twenty years in the Royal Canadian Navy (up to Petty Officer First Class). After training he worked as a hospital administrator in Alberta and the Northwest Territories. He then served as a Governor General appointed Official Reeiver representing the Superintendent of Bankruptcies in Edmonton and Halifax. Ephrem has previously been a qualified scuba diving instructor and private airplane pilot. He and his wife a Scot midwife volunteered for nearly 5 years with CUSO and CESO in other societies.

A longtime storyteller and member of the Writers' Federation of New Brunswick, Ephrem has published several articles, collaborated on the children's book Pa's Harvest (with Jan Andrews; Douglas and McIntyre, 2000), and authored a collection of short stories, Exciting World Adventures published by Friesen Press.
