Ethan ChuaEthan Chua is a Chinese-Filipino poet, scholar, comic book writer, and community organizer. Their poetry has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and published in The Journal, while their translations of poems from Filipino to English can be ound in Asymptote and Alchemy. Their graphic novel, Doorkeeper (Summit Books, 2017), is available in Philippine bookstores. A scholarly essay of theirs on science fiction, the archive, and the Marcos regime is published in Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints. They're currently pursuing a Master's degree in International and World History, where they hope to explore the internationalist politics of Filipino revolutionaries in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
