Gordon HomeGordon Home (1878-1969) was a British author, journalist, and traveler. He wrote extensively on a variety of topics, including travel, history, and politics. Home had a lifelong fascination with France and its culture, and he traveled extensively thrughout the country, including to the Normandy region. His experience in Normandy informed his writing of the book "Normandy," which provides a detailed account of his travels through the region. In addition to his travel writing, Home was also an accomplished journalist, working for a number of British newspapers and magazines. He covered a range of topics, including politics, social issues, and cultural events. During World War I, Home served as a war correspondent, reporting from the front lines in France and Belgium.
