I R HarveyI R Harvey was born in Cwmbran, Monmouthshire, but his family left Wales when he was a child, following his father's redeployment to Teesside. Growing up in rural North Yorkshire, he attended school in Northallerton. After working as a Residential Soial Worker for 16 years, he re-trained as a primary school teacher. He taught for 12 years before becoming a deputy head teacher and safeguarding officer. I R Harvey took early retirement in 2017 to pursue his passion for writing.
