His several hats include: community organizer, pastor, musician, lecturer and frequent workshop leader. Recipient of NAACP Alabama's Community Service Awrd, he was recognized by President Obama for his social justice work in Birmingham. Author of too many papers, articles, and manuals, he also released three independent albums of original songs, most recently recording in Muscle Shoals.
