Joao is considered to be an expert in teaching children jiu-jitsu, and many of the top Brazilian jiu-jitsu coaches and school owners have turned to him for advice on starting their own children's programs. He has creatednumerous DVDs and video resources for instructors on teaching Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and has schools affiliated with him across the country and overseas.
