She is a Sri Lankan-Canadian, an immigrant, veterinarian and a writer who loves to inspire others through her words. Sheis a research scientist studying foreign animal viruses at the National Centre for Foreign Animal Disease at the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Winnipeg. Kalhari arrived in Canada in 2012 for graduate studies and completed a PhD in veterinary pathology at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan. She calls Canada her second home. She loves the snow, the great outdoors, enchanting shows of northern lights and is always thankful for the magical dreams that are coming into reality.
