Kodjo AdabraKodjo Adabra was born and raised in Lomé, the capital of Togo, West Africa. He has three brothers and two sisters. At twenty-six, he emigrated to the United States in pursuit of the "American Dream." Beset by loneliness, low-paid jobs, and his existetial quest, he slowly learned English. This enabled him to return to school and earn a Ph.D. in Literature. Now an award-winning associate professor in upstate New York, he teaches courses about francophone African cultures, civilizations, literature, films, and sociolinguistics. This is his third book.
