She graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso at a young age of 21 and went straight to work in the medical field focusng on helping those with cardiac conditions. Wanting to learn about her dad's health has made her love cardiology with a passion.As a Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse, she ventured away from her younger brother and parents to explore life and growth. Lauren moved fromher home town, El Paso, TX, to Philomath, OR. It has given her a new perspective and many experiences. Her love for nursing, and writing continue to flourish.Through poetry, story telling, and cardiology, comes a great love. Love will always be the biggest motivator for her as she views life anatomically, spiritually, and emotionally.
