Lisa JoelleLisa Joelle grew up in the city and moved to the country when she married a tall farmer from southwest Manitoba. They live on a grain farm in Treaty 2 territory, with three boys who are about to eat them out of house and home. After a few years of tring to be a perfect farm wife, it turned out her skills lay elsewhere. She has spent nearly a decade working as a painter and mixed media artist, as well as reviving and working with a non-profit arts organization in her town. There, she also teaches extra-curricular art classes.Lisa loves to grow flowers, cross-country ski, and hike. She cooks for friends and family, and-if necessary-she can even drive a tractor.
