Madeleine MisnerMadeleine Misner is a confessional poet and macabre short-story writer who grew up in both the beach towns of Los Angeles and the suburbs of the Bay Area before returning to LA for college. She is a recent graduate of Loyola Marymount University, whee she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, with an emphasis in creative writing. There, she became editor-in-chief of the creative writing journal LA Miscellany, and in 2024 her poem "Pick Apart My Brain and You Will Find" won the first place prize for the Denise L.
