Madhavan Pisharodi PisharodiMadhavan Pisharodi, a neurosurgeon born in Kerala, India, to Achuthan Pisharodi and Laksmikutty Pisharassiar, embarked on an extraordinary journey in his early teens. Dr. Pisharodi pursued his education at Kerala University, Medical Colleges in Calict and Trivandrum, India, and the National Institute of Neurosciences in Bangalore, India. He furthered his training at the Wessex Neurosurgical Center in Southampton, England, the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado, and the University of Texas Medical Branch Galveston, Texas. He practiced solo neurosurgery in Columbus, Mississippi, and Brownsville, Texas, and has served the Rio Grande Valley, Texas community since January 30, 1989. Dr. Pisharodi's arrival in Brownsville began impacting the city's history. Dr. Pisharodi has been a full-time general neurosurgeon in the Rio Grande Valley for the past thirty-five years.
