Maria LofgrenMaria Lofgren, DNP, ARNP, NNP-BC, CPNP, FAANP, is a visionary leader with over 35 years of experience spanning leadership, strategic planning, building clinical practice models, and establishing key partnerships. She is a Clinical Associate Professorand Director of Faculty Practice at the University of Iowa College of Nursing, and the Director of Advanced Practice Providers at University of Iowa Health Care. She is dually certified as a pediatric and neonatal nurse practitioner, is a Fellow of the American Associationof Nurse Practitioners, and has been named one of Iowa's 100 Great Nurses. She has multiple peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, posters, and presentations and has mentored numerous APRNs and PAs. She serves on countless committees and professional organizations institutionally, statewide, and nationally.
