Michael T CrittendenMichael T. Crittenden graduated from North Andover High School and Merrimack College. He and his wife, Christine, live in Bradford, MA. Since 2000, they have been lucky enough to spend most of their spare time on beautiful Pine River Pond in Wakefiel, NH. What is even more lucky is that their two daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren love the lake as much as they do.In 2022, Crittenden started writing a historical fiction book that has been in his head for years based on experiences in his working career. He hopes to complete that book in 2024. While sidetracked for a while on that endeavor, this children's book was conceived after one particular early morning fishing on his boat with his grandson. The quiet lake was interrupted by a very loud, "Papa, get the net! I have a huge fish!" Even funnier was the sound of people in their lakeside cottages laughing, which could also be heard loud and clear. Some ran out to their docks to see him working hard to reel up a large weed-and Papa, standing by with the net. Crittenden says, "I laugh so often while fishing with Bobby, hearing 'Papa, get the net!' again and again. I thought this could be a nice story to tell.
