Moraima CarballoMory Carballo. I am the author of Born Again in America.I was born and raised in Cuba. I come to the United States when I was twenty-seven. I been living in Florida for the Past fifteen years. Ever since I was a little girl teaching, music and art ha been my passion. In Cuba I had the opportunity to put in practice some of my skill as a teacher. I enjoy teaching, and still in my memories the smile of some of my students. And some of them calling me Maestra, Teacher. Writing my book has been the most rewarding experience that I can ever asked for. Through literature I been able to share my journey from Cuba to America. I vividly bring to you the smell of Tabacco, the family reunion in Cuba with my father's playing some instruments. At the same time learning English as a second language and got to mature in the American culture has been a journey worth to share with you.
