Born in Whitechapel, Niaz has taken City Spice from strength to strength, with successes in Indian coking and restaurant service. In 2018, he launched a vegan menu at City Spice. One of the first bespoke vegan menus in an award-winning restaurant, it was lauded by critics and featured on ITV and BBC. Niaz has also been featured on Channel 5 and Channel 4 for his food.
