Peggy Simmons WilsonDr. Wilson is a retired secondary school counselor who dedicated much of her life mentoring and encouraging young people. She earned a bachelor's degree from Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina and a master's and doctorate in human develpment and counseling from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. Dr. Wilson is one of the founding board members of a foundation which awards annual scholarships to eligible high school seniors attending college or a vocational school and has published A Walk on the Beach: A Sacred Space. Dr. Wilson attributes her success in life to her faith, supportive family members and friends, and the many divine interventions that guided her path.
