Richard HerringBritish author and journalist Richard Herring (1830–1896) is most known for his writings on printing and papermaking. He was a journalist for various publications, including The Daily News and The Standard, and was born in London. Herring wrote a lot and his books on printing and producing paper were well-liked at the time. His writings of note include "Paper and Paper Making, Ancient and Modern" and "The Paper Trade."
