His parents made sure he was well taught from an early age in the lessons of scripture, the obedienc of its commandments and instruction, and prayer.As he grew up, his close relationship with Christ was intermittent; he had a significant fear of missing out on the world. In high school, he expanded his social circle outside his childhood and church friends. Later, Bob matriculated to a Christian college where he continued to search both spiritually and socially. In 1984, he took pen to paper and wrote over 100 pages of a fictional autobiography embellishing on his own life experiences.
