Stanley D StewartStanley D. Stewart is a retired Master Teacher of Bands in Metro Nashville. In his career, he taught choral music for the State Department of Education, was a counselor for youth at Spencer Youth Center, and was the Director of Activities for House o Friendship, a daycare facility for adults from Middle Tennessee Health Institute. For several years he was a coach of girls' sports, including volleyball, softball, basketball, and track, and was instrumental in starting the sports programs at Gra-Mar Middle School. He was a gospel choir director at Lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church and was one of the organizers responsible for coordinating music for the 1992 NAACP National Convention in Nashville.
