When my daughters started to learn about poetry in grade school, it was the perfect tie to start writing down the stories we made up for them. And once my grandchildren found a folder I had made for their mother, the decision to publish them was easy. I enjoy travel, fishing, and volunteering for the Fox Valley Music Foundation, a non-profit organization that preserves and promotes local music and children's musical education. Music is the one language we all have in common and is the perfect partner for poetry. I have been a guest reader for many teachers at different schools.
