Susan L MarshallSusan Marshall is an Australian author of fiction, poetry and plays. In 2020, she founded Story Playscapes, her writing and publishing business. Susan is renown for delving into her playscapes when developing her writing and the readers enjoy seeing er engagement with the world around her and gleaning insights into how she gains inspiration. Her written works are highly respected by a dedicated global audience.Susan has completed a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in English, Theatre and Drama) at La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Teaching (Primary and Secondary) at Deakin University. She has taught professionally in primary and secondary schools for more than a decade. Susan has also written a number of articles for academic publications; presented at state and national conferences in drama and literacy education and has worked as an executive committee member for Drama Victoria.As a writer and educator, Susan brings a wealth of knowledge to Story Playscapes. She is passionate about empowering literacy development in her global readership. Susan is also big hearted in her discussions on social media, where she fosters a love for reading and discovery in her readers.Susan has produced a range of professional publications, including her play: "Broken World," which was published by RMDesigned in 2013. The play was launched at the AATE/ALEA National Conference and positively reviewed by the Children's Book Council of Australia. RMDesigned also published Susan's second play, "Indigo's Haven" in 2016.Susan has also written a range of poetry and fiction, which have been published at Vocal Media. Most notably, her short story: "Peonies for Masha: Her Journey Home" was shortlisted as a finalist in the Vocal+ Fiction Awards in 2022.
