Taya MikadoTaya Mikado is a first-time author and long-time scholar of grief and resilience. Growing up in Lethbridge, Alberta, she studied and performed poetry from a young age in Speech and Drama classes. She went on to achieve an honours degree in Philosophyfrom the University of British Columbia, and is currently pursuing law school (fitting grief into her busy schedule).
