She spent her teenage years riding in his crazy van, which was covered with brass ornaments, silver dollars, and stares from gawkers. As a teen, racy cringed from embarrassment when riding in her dad's grandiose creation, but she eventually came to appreciate the van and the notoriety it brought her father.
