Yu ChangYu Chang (Ed.D. with a specialty in Language Education) is an associate professor at Beijing Jiaotong University, China. She received her doctoral degree from School of Education at Texas Southern University. She has been teaching university-level EF (English as a Foreign Language) courses for more than 25 years. She has also taught Chinese language in the USA for 3 years. She has been a visiting scholar in Department of Applied Linguistics at Montclair State University. Her research interests include intercultural communication, intercultural education, language education, second language acquisition, among others. She has published a number of articles on bilingual teaching and second language teaching. She also co-edited a dozen of EFL textbooks. Currently she is conducting three research projects on intercultural competence as a Principal Investigator.
