Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2020 im Fachbereich Führung und Personal - Mitarbeitermotivation, Note: 1,7, Universität Leipzig, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Seminararbeit beschäftigt sich mit der extrinsischen die intrinsischen Motivation in Arbeitsbeziehungen. Dazu werden das mikroökomisch fundierte Modell von Bénabou & Tirole umrissen, die intrinsische und extrinsische Motivation voneinander abgegrenzt sowie das Auftreten des Verdrängungseffektes anhand verschiedener Theorien dargelegt. Anschließend wird die intrinsische Motivation in das Modell von Bénabou & Tirole integriert und die Rolle der intrinsischen Motivation in bestimmten Arbeitsbeziehungen empirisch dargelegt. In wissensbasierten Ökonomien sind Aufgaben durch eine steigende Wissensintensität, Komplexität, Volatilität und Teamorientierung1 gekennzeichnet. Dies verleiht der Ressource Mensch sowie dem Personalmanagement eine zunehmend strategische Rolle, weil effiziente Anreizsysteme, die Agenten motivieren, zum Wohle des Unternehmens zu handeln, geschaffen werden müssen. Ein zentrales Anreizsystem ist das Vergütungssystem, welches den Erfolg eines Unternehmens sicherstellen soll. In der Praxis zeigen Lohnumfragen, dass 80% der befragten Unternehmen den Fixlohn mit einem Bonus ergänzen. Dies ist auf die Prinzipal-Agenten-Theorie, die vor allem monetäre, individuelle und ex-ante Anreize verbunden mit einer klar definierten Zielgröße als optimalen Performanceanreiz konstatiert, zurückzuführen. Demgegenüber stehen Beobachtungen von Psychologen, Soziologen und zunehmend Ökonomen, die den rein positiven Effekt von monetären Anreizen auf die Performance (Preiseffekt) bezweifeln und einen negativen Einfluss tangibler Anreize auf die intrinsische Motivation konstatieren. Demnach verdrängen monetäre Anreize die intrinsische Motivation und folglich sinkt die Performance. Auch in der Praxis zeigt sich dahingehend Bewegung, denn Großkonzerne, wie Bosch, Daimler oder die Deutsche Bahn schafften ihre ehemals
