About the Author: DON ROBINSON is one of six children. He and his siblings were raised by the best parents anyone could ever hope for-Don and Christy Robinson. The great love of these two awesome parents permeated and shaped the lives of their children and well prepared them for the things in life they aspired to do. DON attended and graduated from Edinboro University of Pa., worked in the Aerospace Industry for 7 years, co-owned a massage therapy center for 5 years and then in his mid-thirties, without an inkling, received the call to ministry. He answered the call and surrendered his life to Jesus Christ, and the Lord revealed to him that he was to reach out and help children. Don was led to an inner city youth ministry in Beaver Falls, Pa. named Tiger Pause. There he met Dave Veon, the Director of Tiger Pause and began to serve as a full-time volunteer. Dave recognized the natural giftings in Don's life to serve and mentor children and before long the two became close friends and began leading the ministry together. Don was named the Assistant Director and with the support of many fine individuals and organizations, Dave and Don grew Tiger Pause into a major ministry with hundreds of participating children. God eventually called Don out of youth ministry and into family ministry where he worked directly with the parents and their children from within the home. It was from within the home that he came up with the thirteen common issues of rearing children and began sharing and teaching them to all his families.
