About the Book

Chiara is not for the faint-hearted. She is enigmatic, opinionated, and holds fast to powerful beliefs and dark coping mechanisms. The story contains some trigger topics; addiction, overdose, slavery, and abuse. In addition, Chiara is partial to the F Word and its various variations. No references are graphic but are present as the fabric of the story. An introduction, if you wish, of Chiara's thirty-two-thousand years of existence. Chiara, a Beowulf-Runner, shares her story, beginning with her penultimate lifetime. Chiara is a Finite. Reincarnated repeatedly until her purpose is fulfilled. In this lifetime, she is a strong-willed young woman of Navajo descent born in the late 1940s. And Following the call of her purpose. In what she calls an unimportant lifetime, volunteering with the Red Cross in Vietnam. She is blindsided one day in 1972 when her Twin Flame, Eamon, walks onto a Vietnam army base. Unfortunately, Eamon, the great Draegon-Rider of fables, is an unawakened Finite. In Chiara's words. It is just another clusterfuck to add to the Gawd-damn war she is a part of. Chiara left Eamon to die in the sewers of Paris in 1667. Not knowing why, he had spent two thousand years doing his best to obliterate all memories stored in his DNA. She sailed West to find answers in the dark and light of New Orleans and the ancient knowledge of the First Nations. To end their never-ending cycle of tragedy. Chiara and her Beowulfs work in the shadows to unravel Eamon's unawakened state. While she seeks what called her to Vietnam. Before, his soul is called to the home of Wyrre Draegons to be reincarnated for the last time. She is fated to die once again, protecting those she loves. Against the backdrop of the last days of the Vietnam war. She draws on her millennia of knowledge gained right under the noses of those who would destroy her and Eamon and nudges their destiny back on track. In this introductory book, you will meet their soul family. Immortals, Homo Lycanus and Vampuris Originalis, a Draegon or two and a few other creatures of the here and there. As well as a foe or two. As Chiara likes to say. Find comfort in probable improbability and the ordinarily extraordinary. Because that is where you truly exist. Unseen in plain sight. After all, where better to hide the bearers of the prophecy? It is time to weave together the different legends torn apart by storytellers of the past.
