Although it's recommended for children between approximately 5 and 9 years old, this dossier is a wonderful activity for children and adults of any age. You can print it as many times as you want and do it now and also in the future!
The dossier includes 30 different stories, each explaining a different value. Each story follows the same format:
1) The first page is the short tale that is mostly about animals.
2) The second page includes:
-The positive message/value that the story explains.
-An activity to do together in which you don't have to buy anything.
-A practical example about value.
-4 simple questions to better understand the value.
3) The third page, which is a drawing for the child to color.
It takes approximately 15 minutes to read and comment the activities. A suggested way to use this book is before bedtime or whenever you want to spend time together. Then let the child color the drawing as they like at another time and show it to you when done. Once colored, you can move on to the next tale.
The advantage of having 3 separate pages is that this way if you want to just read the story and have the child paint the drawing, you can skip the entire page 2 and still have 30 short stories and 30 drawings to color.
Since there are 30 stories and using the example that you do 4 every week, you have 2 months to share unique moments. Very important: you do not need to buy anything to carry out the activity of each task. It's about listening, talking, sharing and wanting to.
About the coloring sheets:
