About the Author: Hasnain Rizvi is a PMI OPM3(R) Certified Consultant with formal project, program, portfolio management, and governance experience. He has performed project management maturity assessment work and managed mission critical complex programs and projects for Global 2000 and Fortune 500 clients. Hasnain has managed complex programs in IBM's Project Management practice in Saskatchewan. He has also provided extensive project management services to The Government of Newfoundland & Labrador. Hasnain is currently based out of Southern California. His specialties include planning and implementing mitigation activities to assist in recovering troubled projects. He is a Judge for both The Business Excellence Awards in Dubai, as well as ASQ's International Team Excellence Awards (ITEA). Hasnain is pursuing his research interests in agile methodologies at SKEMA Business School in France. He is a graduate of Caltech's Project Management Program. Hasnain has trained and mentored over 15,000 professionals across the globe. He is an adjunct instructor with several universities and colleges, including The University of British Columbia, The University of California Irvine, University of La Verne, SAIT Polytechnic and AAA Institute. He is an acclaimed professional speaker and author.
