Emotional intelligence is the one area of self-improvement that readers have indicated they'd like to focus on in 2021.
There are "by now a dozen or more alternative conceptions of what 'emotional intelligence' (or EI) even implies," as Daniel Goleman acknowledged in his 1995 book simply titled Emotional Intelligence.
