A WWII veteran, takes a job as taxi cab driver, falls in love with Lucy a back hills woman. Lucy, who for the first time in her life is away from the mountains of West Virginia and working at a munitions plant in Washington DC. Being naive and backwards she becomes pregnant with his child, poor and no money, they struggle to make a life for themselves, and their three girls. Donna Riley was born in Riverdale, Maryland, just outside of Washington D.C. She is the mother of three grown daughters, and six grandchildren.
Donna is an avid outdoors person, where many of her children's stories take place. She is an avid hiker, kayaker, camper and loves to fish. Donna is also an artist, she does nature prints and designs, and has been writing stories and books for over thirty years. "Bee-lieve Me, God Has a Plan For You!" is the first children's book in a series of Christian children's books.
